Step by Step Method
Step 1
Over a double boiler, melt the white chocolate, and set aside to cool.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cream the shortening with cream cheese and the butter together in the mixer.
Step 3
With the mixer on low, slowly pour the cooled white chocolate into the creamed mixture. Add Vanilla.
Step 4
Incorporate sifted powdered sugar and meringue powder to form a smooth buttercream.
