White Bread ABM (2 pound loaf)
"A simple "everyday" bread that I make often. It is fluffy and light, makes very good toast. I use a 2 lb. Zojirushi ABM and a slightly different method than usually recommended. It works for me. The flour measurement is by weight - if you have no scale try 4 cups but a scale works best as cup measurements can vary quite a bit. "

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Put water in breadmaker. Add sugar, then yeast. Wait 2 minutes for yeast to begin to soften. Add flour, butter, salt, in that order.
Step 2
On the Zojirushi I select Basic, Light Crust, Preheat OFF. Press start. The top crust will be barely browned when finished and might collapse just a little. Flours vary a lot so you may find you wish to increase the amount slightly next time.
