Step by Step Method
Step 1
Scald 1 3/4 cup of milk with the maple syrup in the top of a double boiler.
Step 2
Combine the remaining milk with the cornstarch and salt, and add gradually, stirring constantly to the hot mixture.
Step 3
Cook 25 minutes, then add this mixture to eggs slightly beaten.
Step 4
Cook five minutes longer.
Step 5
Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with the chopped nuts while the pudding is still hot.
Step 6
When cold, cover with the cream whipped stiff, with tablespoon maple syrup and serve.
