Step by Step Method
Step 1
Brown pork in hot butter on all sides in deep kettle.
Step 2
Add water and all other ingredients except horseradish.
Step 3
Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until tender.
Step 4
Add water as needed.
Step 5
Transfer meat to hot platter and keep hot.
Step 6
Take cloves out of onion before blending.
Step 7
Force stock through sieve or puree with blender stick so all the veggies are smooth.
Step 8
Season to taste.
Step 9
Pour stock over meat.
Step 10
Top with horseradish.
