"One of the school's Sloppy Joe recipes seems like a good one. They used more vinegar than I'm putting in. You can add more if you wish. I loved Sloppy Joes at school. My mom didn't make them, but I did for my boys."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Stir in the tomato paste, dehydrated onion flakes, garlic powder, catsup, water, white vinegar, dry mustard, black pepper, salt, and paprika. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Step 3

Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the soup thickens to your desired consistency.

Step 4

Season the soup to taste with additional salt, pepper, or vinegar if desired.

Step 5

Serve on warmed hamburger buns.
