Turkey Bolognase
"I first found this recipe from Ingham's chicken's here in Australia a few years back. I have since found it again online. I did make this once and the family really enjoyed it. I cooked my pasta just before the sauce had finished, so as it all came together at the same time."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Saute the bacon, vegetables and garlic in the olive oil using a large pot over a medium heat for 5 minutes or until just softened.
Step 2
Add the turkey mince and turn up the heat to high & continue cooking whisking well to break up the meat.
Step 3
When the meat is all cooked and the juices have nearly all evaporated, add the wine ; cook for 1 minute, then add the milk, tomatoes and sugar. Simmer for 30 minutes, until tender and rich, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Cook the fettucine pasta in a large pot of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente.
Step 5
Drain well then toss through the sauce.
Step 6
Serve with a generous amount of grated parmesan and chopped basil.
