"This is quick and easy (done in the microwave) and very tasty. Serve with steamed rice and broccoli. (cook rice before putting fish in microwave, as it only takes 5 minutes)"

Step 1

SAUCE: In a small bowl, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients.

Step 2

Coat a 9 x 9-inch glass baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place fillets in pan side by side and pour sauce over them, tipping pan to distribute the sauce all around. Sprinkle green onions over fish.

Step 3

Cover pan with plastic wrap (leave one corner open to vent).

Step 4

Microwave on high for 5 minutes. (If you microwave doesn't have a revolving plate, turn pan a quarter turn halfway through cooking time.)

Step 5

Remove plastic wrap and serve, putting a little of the sauce on each fillet.

You can't ask for an easier recipe to make...and the sauce has a wonderful flavor. This is going to be made often...it's so quick to prepare...I served it with an Asian pasta dish and steamed broccoli...

WOW!!!! This is a great tasting recipe that I will be making quite often. The only change I made was using fresh chives as I was out of green onions. DH could not belive this was done in the microwave and ready in no time. A perfect recipe for a busy weeknight. Made for the Alphabet Soup Recipe Tag Game.

mmm yum, the sauce on this is wonderful, so full of flavour, really enhances the tilapia. and so quick and easy doing it in the microwave, love it !! We will be haveing this often thanks for posting.
