Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat grill to medium high.

Step 2

Trim the ends from 1 pound zucchini. Cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick planks.

Step 3

Place on baking sheet.

Step 4

Drizzle the zucchini with the olive oil and season with kosher salt, garlic powder and black pepper.

Step 5

Arrange in a single layer on the grill grates. Cover and grill without disturbing until grill marks appear and the zucchini is tender, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
