Step by Step Method
Step 1
Brown meat in oil. When thoroughly cooked, add the onion, seasonings, and tomato sauce and mix to make the filling. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Step 2
While you are making the filling, heat taco shells in a 200F oven.
Step 3
Fill hot shells with meat mixture, then top with shredded lettuce and finely chopped tomato.
Step 4
Sprinkle top with grated Longhorn cheese, if desired.
