  • For best results, use a high-quality pork tenderloin.
  • If you don't have taco seasoning, you can make your own by combining chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika.

  • Replace the pork tenderloin with chicken breasts – this substitution is beneficial because it is a leaner protein option and can be cooked more quickly.
  • Replace the orange marmalade with apricot jam – this substitution is beneficial because it provides a slightly different flavor profile and can help to balance out the spiciness of the taco seasoning.

Lemon-Garlic Pork Skewers Replace the orange marmalade and grainy mustard with a mixture of 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. Serve the skewers with the lemon-garlic mixture.

Honey-Mustard Pork Skewers Replace the orange marmalade and grainy mustard with a mixture of 1/4 cup honey, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. Serve the skewers with the honey-mustard mixture.

This is a very easy and tasty pork dish...I downsized the recipe to serve 3... and cooked my skewers on the George Foreman grill...it worked great... I was concerned about how the dipping sauce was going to taste...but dang...it's really delicious who would have thought two totally different ingredients would go so well together...made for "Billboard" tag game...thanks for sharing your recipe...
