"I got this idea from a co-worker of mine. I just tweaked her recipe a bit. This is great served with vanilla ice cream, sooooooooo delicious. Thanks Bonnie!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Pour melted butter into a 9 inch round cake pan.

Step 3

Break open the crescent package, remove dough and do not unroll; cut into 6 even slices.

Step 4

Lay slices, cut side down, into pan, leaving some space to allow rising.

Step 5

Add raisins to pan.

Step 6

Mix the evaporated milk, brown sugar and rum extract together and pour over crescent slices.

Step 7

Cover with foil.

Step 8

Bake for 30 minutes.

Step 9

Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.

Step 10

Allow to cool a bit before serving.

Made to go with our soup supper , mmm mmm sooo delicious, DH says tell Bea her Sweet buns are Yummy delicious!! and i love them cus they are sooo easy to put together and the end result was the best oooey gooey bottoms ever as DH put it!!
