  • 1 package Pillsbury crescent rolls (4 large)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2: Pour melted butter into a 9 inch round cake pan.

  • Step 3: Break open the crescent package, remove dough and do not unroll; cut into 6 even slices.

  • Step 4: Lay slices, cut side down, into pan, leaving some space to allow rising.

  • Step 5: Add raisins to pan.

  • Step 6: Mix the evaporated milk, brown sugar and rum extract together and pour over crescent slices.

  • Step 7: Cover with foil.

  • Step 8: Bake for 30 minutes.

  • Step 9: Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.

  • Step 10: Allow to cool a bit before serving.
