Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Pour melted butter into a 9 inch round cake pan.
Step 3: Break open the crescent package, remove dough and do not unroll; cut into 6 even slices.
Step 4: Lay slices, cut side down, into pan, leaving some space to allow rising.
Step 5: Add raisins to pan.
Step 6: Mix the evaporated milk, brown sugar and rum extract together and pour over crescent slices.
Step 7: Cover with foil.
Step 8: Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 9: Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 10: Allow to cool a bit before serving.
