Beautiful tasting salad and also beautiful to look at! So very tasty with everyone giving it a thumbs up. I totally forgot to add the toasted almonds, until my husband said "I bet toasted nuts would be really good on this"....ding..ding..ding...then I remembered and we had the almonds with our salad. Thank you, ellie, for sharing.

The dressing is to die for, what a delicious salad this is!!! I used loose leaf lettuce from the garden in lieu of spinach and it worked perfectly.

I cut the recipe down to one serving...the star of this salad is the dressing...I loved the bite of the shallot and the salt was totally time I'm going to tear the spinach for ease of eating and maybe add more of the toasted almond...made for "Bill Board" tag game...
