Step by Step Method

Step 1

Make roux with butter and flour.

Step 2

Add spice, stock and milk, whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Add cheese, whisk.

Step 4

Add Worcestershire, whisk.

Step 5

Add jalapeno, whisk.

Step 6

Add spinach, stir, can cool down at this point.

Step 7

To bake turn into a greased casserole, top with crackers, pour butter over top.

Step 8

Bake 350 for 30 minutes until browned and bubbly.

Very enjoyable way to eat your spinach as it has great flavors with the spices and ingredients used. I followed the recipe to a T and it all worked. Next time though I will use just a touch less celery seed, but all-and-all it was a success. Thank you dienia b for sharing. Made it for the Billboard Tag.
