Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook spaghetti as directed on package, Drain, set aside in a bowl.
Step 2
In a small bowl combine together, the melted butter, garlic salt, Parmesan cheese and eggs. Add to the cooked spaghetti, mix with your hands to thoroughly combine.
Step 3
Press noodle mixture into the bottom of a greased deep-dish 10 inch pie pan.
Step 4
Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti.
Step 5
In a skillet, cook and brown the ground beef with onion, garlic and green pepper. Drain off excess fat.
Step 6
Add diced tomatoes, paste, sugar, spices to the meat mixture.
Step 7
Stir to combine, then simmer for 25 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
Step 8
Spoon the meat sauce over the cottage cheese.
Step 9
Bake in oven at 350 for 20 minutes.
Step 10
Sprinkle on mozzarella cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
Step 11
Slice and Enjoy!
