"Nothing says The South like pecans! These tasty nuggets are good anytime of year, but pecans are a fall crop - so always best with freshly harvested nuts! Recipe from Diane Butts; Boone, NC."
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Place melted butter and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Add pecans and toss until completely coated. Pour the pecans onto a baking sheet and spread into a single layer.
Bake pecans for 20-25 minutes until they're toasted and fragrant, stirring every 5 minutes so they don't burn.
In a medium bowl, combine the salt, cinnamon, garlic powder, red pepper and sugar.
Remove the pecans from the oven and add to the spice mixture. Toss to coat. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.

These are addictively tasty! I made some for a gift, and then immediately made another batch to keep for myself. I have to dole them out in a small bowl or I'll end up eating far too many of them at once. Thanks for a lovely recipe!
