Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Pam spray 9x13 casserole.

Step 3

Place ham steak in.

Step 4

Surround ham with veggies.

Step 5

Sprinkle rice overtop.

Mix the sauce until tomato paste is dissolved and everything else is mixed together.

Step 7

Pour over the casserole

Step 8

Add bay leaf.

Step 9

Cover with tinfoil tightly, bake for 60 minutes covered.

Step 10

Uncover and bake 5 minutes more make sure everything is tender and rice is cooked.
