Step by Step Method
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in the warm water and then add the honey and salt (1 teaspoon table salt); stirring until dissolved. Stir in flour.
Step 2
Knead dough on a floured board until soft and elastic.
Step 3
Cut dough into 2 - 3" balls and roll balls into a snake about 15 inches long and form the pretzel. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with the kosher salt. Repeat for all the balls of dough. Place on cookie sheet.
Step 4
Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degree oven.
