"These rolls are my very favorite in the world... I can remember my friend's mother, Norma, making these rolls, and coming in from outside. The smell of them cooking leaves you begging for just a taste. They have been used in my family for 47 years. These are especially delicious with beans. NOTE: 1(1/4 ounce) package dry active yeast = 2 1/4 teaspoons = 1 (.06 ounce) cake compressed fresh yeast."

These rolls are so moreish that it's hard to stop at one or two! Dripping with butter is how we like them the best. They are xtra delicious when you have juice, gravy or sauce on the bottom of your plate!

These rolls taste fabulous and I loved the crunch of the outside and the softness of the inside with loads of butter dripping down my chin! Just the perfect thing to go with my beans and hamburger patties. They are so easy too, which is a plus!

My rolls came out golden brown on top and I buttered each one before putting them on the plate to serve, making them shiny and beautifully inviting to grab one up real fast! The rolls were light and the smells in the air were delightful. We loved them and since they are easy to make I will make them often. They will be especially good with my beans and hot dogs or hamburger patties on Saturday nights!

Delicious yeast rolls. They are so delicious with lots of butter! The kids had some for breakfast the next morning with cinnamon butter and had 2 each. Little piggies!
