Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine Old English cheese and cream cheese until smooth and well blended.
Step 2
Add the onions, sauce and shredded cheese; combine mixture thoroughly.
Step 3
Using a spatula or your (clean) hands, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Place ball on a plate or in a small bowl for about an hour in the refrigerator to firm it up.
Step 4
Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and reshape it up a bit more into a ball.
Step 5
Roll the cheese ball in a small dish of pecan chips or pat them on until ball is covered.
Step 6
Chill thoroughly. Serve with a variety of crackers.
