Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400f degrees. Add the potato slices, onion slices, salt and pepper, garlic and half of the cheese to a small casserole dish, stir to mix thoroughly: pour the milk over and stir. Top evenly with the other half of the cheese and dot with the butter.
Step 2
Place on the middle rack in the oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the potatoes are soft.
