Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt the butter in double boiler.
Step 2
Stir in the Runkel's All-Purpose Cocoa and cornstarch.
Step 3
Add the yolks of the eggs well beaten, the sugar, salt and milk.
Step 4
Cook in top of double boiler until thick, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Pour into well baked pie crust.
Step 6
For the meringue, beat the whites of the eggs until stiff and add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 7
Top pie with meringue.
Step 8
Brown lightly in oven, and serve cold.
