Step 1

Line a 8" pie plate with crust; pour in the blueberries.

Step 2

Mix together the rest of the ingredients and scatter over the blueberries; dot with pieces of butter.

Step 3

Put top crust on; cut vents and in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes; then reduce to 350 for another 35-40 minutes till done.

I used those huge blueberries from the grocery store to make this and it was delicious! I can only imagine how luscious it would have been with wild blueberries! We had it warm with icecream and enjoyed it very much. I will make two pies next time cause one wasn't enough!

Nothing like blueberry pie at my house and this one is sure to please your palate. Fresh plump blueberries were used. Not as good as native New England blueberries but still good. This is what I will use from now on to make mine. Sweet but not too sweet. Great with ice cream too!

Delicious. We used pillsbury pie crusts and made 2 pies -- one for dinner and one for the freezer. We also skipped the lemon juice but will probably add it next time. Thanks for sharing!

It was such a delicious pie, that we loved for the holiday! I added extra flour in with the blueberries to soak up the water from the frozen blueberries so it wouldn't be overly juicy. It wasn't overly sweet using frozen Maine blueberries which are more tart than cultivated blueberries. It will be made again.
