"Anything that is "of Maine" takes my eye" because it is usually simple but good. I tried this years ago and it was delicious. I use the Maine blueberries (either frozen or fresh) as I think they are the very best in the world...smile."

Thank you for sharing your lovely recipe. What a great blueberry pie it made. The pie was amazing, sweet, tart and tangy. I did use the lemon, and cinnamon options, I can't wait to make this again. I used wild New Brunswick blueberries that I picked myself, earlier today, they were perfect.

Deliciousness in every bite! Love that it is sweet, but not overly sweet. These berries do make the best pies. Lucky me! I got to use some of the blueberries I picked myself!

Made this pie a few times now. We love it with ice cream on top! Crust is tender and berries are just sweet enough for us.

My goodness, is there nothing better than pie? NOPE! We loved this pie and used frozen blueberries I had stocked in the freezer, but wished I had some wild Maine blueberries that we love so much. This pie is easy, homey, and more comfortable than a down pillow. Thanks so much for sharing, MimiMaine, and from one New Englander to another, this pie rocks! Made it for PickMe tag.

I used those huge blueberries from the grocery store to make this and it was delicious! I can only imagine how luscious it would have been with wild blueberries! We had it warm with icecream and enjoyed it very much. I will make two pies next time cause one wasn't enough!

I bought a whole bunch of blueberries on sale, and this was the first thing I made. Mmmm good with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
