Step 1

Line a 8" pie plate with crust; pour in the blueberries.

Step 2

Mix together the rest of the ingredients and scatter over the blueberries; dot with pieces of butter.

Step 3

Put top crust on; cut vents and in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes; then reduce to 350 for another 35-40 minutes till done.

It was such a delicious pie, that we loved for the holiday! I added extra flour in with the blueberries to soak up the water from the frozen blueberries so it wouldn't be overly juicy. It wasn't overly sweet using frozen Maine blueberries which are more tart than cultivated blueberries. It will be made again.

If it's a delicious Blueberry Pie you are looking for this stop right here and grab this one. It's delicious made with wild Maine blueberries. Not too sweet, but sweet enough, and love that it wasn't runny when I cut into it. I used about 2 tablespoons of flour in mine. The perfect pie!

Blueberries are just coming into the stores here and the first thing I went searching for was a blueberry pie. This is the one I chose and I am so happy I made this one. Just the right amount of sweet and had a deliciousness that only homemade pie can have. I warmed it in the microwave and then topped it with lots of ice cream. Needless to say this pie wasn't around long!
