Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3

Slice the figs into quarters and place in a baking dish.

Step 4

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on fig slices.

Step 5

Place rosemary springs over them.

Step 6

Roast for 40 minutes and remove from oven.

Step 7

Cool for 10-15 minutes, remove and discard rosemary sprigs; drizzle figs with honey to serve.

So different from eating them plain -- very good -- I think this will be wonderful using more figs and adjusting the other ingredients accordingly. Delicious over vanilla ice cream though. Thanks for sharing!
