Roasted Brown Butter Honey Garlic Carrots

"These carrots make the perfect side dish. Roasted and glazed for a sweet flavor. I did not cover mine with foil as written and they came out really well, so I think if you like you could skip this step, although you may need to cook a little longer. I also do think to give these a great flavor for a Christmas side you could add add cinnamon and/or nutmeg powder to the dish."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Using a medium saucepan add the butter and cook over medium high heat; whisk for a few minutes until the butter starts to become frothy and brown; once the butter is browned, add in the honey and garlic and remove from heat.
Step 3
In a large bowl add the carrots and drizzle the sauce on top of carrots and toss until carrots are evenly coated; spread carrots evenly on a large baking sheet & season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Cover carrots with foil and bake for approx 10 minutes; after this time remove the foil, gently toss the carrots and bake carrots uncovered for an extra 5-10 minutes to brown the carrots until they are tender and roasted.
Step 5
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
