"It doesn't pay to make chocolate cookies from scratch when these taste so good, these are seriously easy and quick to make, but the cookie dough has to chill for 2 hours or until firm, I don't use Betty Crocker for these for some reason Duncan Hines cake mix is better. Try this with a white cake mix and white chocolate chips!"

More than 5 stars here! when I saw this on the home page early this morning and saw how easy they were to make I had to try it and luckily I had a box of Devil's Food cake mix in my pantry, I whipped these gems up this morning and may I add it took only a couple of minutes refrigerated for a few hours then I rolled them into balls then rolled in granulated sugar and baked, well these are some fabulous chocolate cookies!!!! thanks to CouponGoddess I have found a new favorite recipe, THANK YOU!

Best chocolate cookies on earth. you have to use Devils food cake mix, just to use plain chocolate cake mix is not as good. there's many differant versons of this recipe but yours is the VERY BEST. these are ultra chocolatey and chewy and you can use more sugar if you like them more sweet. this is the best chocolate cookie, I put a rubber glove on for mixing because the batter is stiff. please everyone MAKE THIS RECIPE you will eat them all yourself!

THESE ARE THE BEST chocolate cookies I have made, yes with a cake mix, I'm never going to make another chocolate cookie recipe again. I used Duncan Hines Deviled food cake mix. The batter is thick so I used my hands for mixing and added a good scoop of chocolate chips. I say don't pass this one by, these are the best and so easy!
