Step by Step Method
Step 1
Grind raisins in food processor.
Step 2
Heat butter and sugar until melted.
Step 3
Add 2 cups milk and scald over boiling water (im guessing double boiler here).
Step 4
Combine cornstarch and remaining milk raisins salt and egg yolks, add to milk mixture and stir constantly until thick, add vanilla.
Step 5
Pour into pie shell top with meringue.
Step 6
Whip egg whites until frothy add sugar gradually add vanilla, beat until stiff top pie.
Step 7
Bake in 350 degree oven 10 minutes or until browned.
