Step by Step Method
Step 1
Brown ground beef with green bell pepper and onion in skillet.
Step 2
Season lightly, stirring until ground beef is crumbly; drain if needed.

Add chili powder.

Stir in corn, soup, water.(use water to rinse out soup can), and seasoning to taste.
Step 5
Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6
Pour into 2 1/2 quart baking dish.

Combine cornmeal mix, egg and oil in bowl and mix well.
Step 8
Spoon over casserole.
Step 9
Bake at 350 degrees until topping is brown. (10 minutes?)
