Step by Step Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Step 2
Combine eggs, 3/4 cup condensed soup, and 1/4 cup water.
Step 3
Add Wheat Chex.
Step 4
Let stand 20 minutes, do not stir.
Step 5
Add meat, salt, and onion.
Step 6
Mix well.
Step 7
Pack into loaf pan.
Step 8
Pour 2 tablespoons water over the top of the loaf.
Step 9
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Step 10
Serve plain or with tomato sauce made by heating reserved soup with 2 tablespoons drippings from the loaf.
