Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a slow cooker combine 1 cup of the cabbage, 1 cup of the onion and the next 5 ingredients (vinegar - tomato paste).
Step 2
In a small cup or bowl combine spices s(paprika - salt) and rub mixture over the pork and then place in slow cooker. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours. Shred meat (either on a cutting board or easier yet, use two fork and shred meat while in the slow cooker). Stir pork into the veggie/sauce mix in the slow cooker.
Step 3
To make sandwiches: spoon 3/4 cup pork mixture onto the bottom half of the bun, top with cabbage and onion. Cover with top. Repeat for each sandwich.
