Step by Step Method
In large pot
Heat olive oil on medium high and saute onions. Drain oil and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil
And then simmer for 1 hour.
Begin boiling after all meatballs have been cooked and placed into simmering sauce.
Cook spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water al dente
In large bowl mix all ingredients with hands and form into 2 inch balls.
Heat olive oil on medium heat in large skillet.
Place several meatballs at a time in preheated oil. Cook until evenly browned.
Do this until all meatballs are cooked.
Place browned meatballs on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Place cooked meatballs into the hot spaghetti sauce.
Let the meatballs simmer in sauce while the spaghetti noodles are boiling. Last 12 minutes
