Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cover shredded raw yams with cold water to retain color.
Step 2
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a 2 quart baking dish.
Step 3
Cook corn syrup, sugar, and pineapple juice until sugar dissolves.
Step 4
Drain yams, pour syrup over yams and dot with remaining butter.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
