"So delicious. Serve with Apple Sauce or Sour Cream. You can use the food processor ( I do )- First use the grater disc to grate the potatoes and onions, then ( after draining the potatoes) use the steel blade to mix it all together."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel the potatoes; immerse them in cold water until ready to use.
Step 2
Grate the onions, using the larger holes, into a large bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Grate the potatoes using the small/medium holes into a colander; press the grated potatoes down to squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Step 4
Mix the grated potatoes with the onions then mix in the egg and flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Heat, over medium-well, 1" oil in a heavy fry pan. When the oil is hot, drop 2-3 Tb of mix and flatten.
Step 6
Fry until golden and crisp on both sides.
Step 7
Drain on paper towels.
Step 8
May keep warm in a 200F oven.
