"This is a recipe I tried at a pot luck and had to ask for the recipe. Everyone really enjoyed these and they were gone in no time. The host was gracious enough to share the recipe with me. Thanks Jean. If gluten intolerant make sure you are using gluten free soy sauce."

Step 1

Mix together the ground beef, eggs,1 teaspoon cornstarch, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and allspice and form not 1" balls.

Step 2

Bring the oil to medium high heat in a large skillet and add the meatballs; brown on all sides.

Step 3

Meanwhile whisk together the remaining cornstarch, pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar, water and brown sugar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil stirring constantly.

Step 4

Add the cooked meatballs, crushed pineapple and diced green peppers; reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Serve with cooked rice.

Made as written for the Pick Me Tag Game .. Except I was unable to find crushed pineapple. But I did find the sml tidbits & halved them for a better size. This is a tasty easy-fix recipe that I served over rice & topped w/sprinkles of sesame seeds. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us, Bea. :-)
