Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes
"If you have fond memories of sloppy joes as a kid or just plain love them still, this bit of comfort food heaven is wonderfully blended with the delightful tastes of Philly Cheese Steak. Incredible!!! But... be warned. This definitely can be considered a starter recipe so be sure to make this your own. Replace green peppers with jalapenos, add a Thai chili sauce, more salt and spice it up!!! Inspired by the original at Dinner then Dessert food blog."

Step by Step Method

Step 1
Add ground beef to a large skillet over a medium high heat and be sure to let it sit in pan to create a crust (ok, a slight burn!) then break apart.

Stir and brown allowing a bit of a crust throughout.
Step 3
Set aside and then add to the pan butter, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms.
Step 4
Saute for about 4 minutes or so.

Step 5
Re-add the beef.
Step 6
Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper with the beef.
Step 7
Be sure to add any other ingredients that you want to add more flavor such as replacing green peppers with jalapenos, spicy sauce, BBQ sauce or whatever you fancy!!!
Step 8
Mix broth and cornstarch into a cup, stir well and then add to the rest of the ingredients in the pan.
Step 9
Over medium heat let cook for about 3-5 minutes.

Step 10
