How to Make

  • Step 1: Add ground beef to a large skillet over a medium high heat and be sure to let it sit in pan to create a crust (ok, a slight burn!) then break apart.

  • Step 2: Stir and brown allowing a bit of a crust throughout.

  • Step 3: Set aside and then add to the pan butter, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms.

  • Step 4: Saute for about 4 minutes or so.

  • Step 5: Re-add the beef.

  • Step 6: Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper with the beef.

  • Step 7: Be sure to add any other ingredients that you want to add more flavor such as replacing green peppers with jalapenos, spicy sauce, BBQ sauce or whatever you fancy!!!

  • Step 8: Mix broth and cornstarch into a cup, stir well and then add to the rest of the ingredients in the pan.

  • Step 9: Over medium heat let cook for about 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 10: Turn down heat and add the cheese chunks into the pan and let melt.
