"Recipe by Saveur, except the bit of butter, which I added, for flavor. And the towel bit, which I learned cooking regular rice. Feel free to make yours either way. Their trick is cooking it more like pasta than the rice absorption method, and it works."

Worked like a charm! I was a little apprehensive about making rice this way, but tried it anyway. Rice was dry and flaky and not clumped together, which is how it turned out when I made it following the box directions. Looks like this is the way I will be doing it from here on out!

I saw this and had to come here to let you know I made it and give it the review it deserves. This is a perfect fluffy rice hands down and I will make it this way from here on in. Now I have rice licked thanks to you. No more sticky rice!

I never would have believed this would work if I hadn't tried it myself, but it does! My rice came out so fluffy and not sticky at all, which usually happens. I am SO happy to find this recipe Sue!
