Step 1: Rinse rice in a sieve under cold running water.
Step 2: Bring salted water to a boil and add rice; boil without a lid for 30 minutes, then drain in a sieve.
Step 3: Place butter in the hot empty pan then add the rice back to it.
Step 4: Keeping away from heat or flame, place a clean dish towel over the pot then put a tight fitting lid over that and leave it alone for 15-20 minutes.
Step 5: Fluff with fork and serve.
