"The Honey mustard, crushed Chili flakes & onions give this burger a special something. This recipe was adapted form Aaron's Missouri Burger by aaron cindi. So I say thanks to him and apologize to him for the changes that I made. I like to put Lettuce, Tomatoes and cheese of your choice on the burger served with butter fried Mushrooms (make that a light spray of oil fried mushrooms if you are really watching every bit of fat). Buy or make a really good quality bun and toast it! You can make 4 burgers out of the recipe but I like them a bit bigger."

Step 1

Mix together the beef, onion, mustard, chili flakes, salt, and brown sugar

Step 2

Form into 3 patties, put a slight indentation in the middle of each pattie.

Step 3

Spray a skillet with the olive oil and cook the burgers over medium heat

Step 4

Flip after about 5 minutes, cover pan and continue cooking for apprx. another 5 minutes, Flip again,add cheese slice cover continue cooking until done to your liking and the cheese has melted.

Step 5

Add whatever condiments you want to your bun with the burger. Enjoy.

Derf "RIP" Forever in our Kitchen

wow a great Saturday night special !! Wonderful flavour with a lovely tingle left on the tounge !! I made ours into 4 patties, cooked two and will enjoy the other two from the freezer some night when feeling lazy. They are delicious, served with red onion slices, tomato and lettuce.
