"I've loved eggnog since my childhood when Dad made it for all our family holidays together. There were always 2 bowls of it of course .. The adult version & the kid-friendly version. These memories make me esp happy that eggnog appears to be enjoying a revival thanks in lrg part to recipes like this BHG tasty holiday party creation. I suggest you have a 2nd set of ingredients on-hand because you're likely to need them. ENJOY!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place ice cream in a lrg chilled bowl & stir until softened. Gradually stir in eggnog & rum, if using.

Step 2

Transfer to a punch bowl. Add desired amt of ginger ale to reach desired consistency. If desired, top ea serving w/additional peppermint ice cream & peppermint sticks.
