Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine water, honey, and fresh ginger in a small saucepan.
Step 2
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat.
Step 3
Let cool to room temperature, about 2 hours, refrigerate overnight.
Step 4
Save the syrup for other drinks.
Step 5
Cocktail: Shake ice and scotch, lemon juice and syrup.
Step 6
Pour into glass and garnish with lemon and ginger.
