Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In large bowl, whisk flour with salt, baking powder, and sugar.

Melt shortening and peanut butter together in microwave.
Step 4
Cool.
Step 5
In another bowl, mix milk, egg, peanut butter and shortening, adding all at once.
Step 6
Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Step 7
Fill Pam sprayed greased muffin pans two-thirds full.
Step 8
Bake in hot oven (400°) 25 minutes.
