  • 1/4 cup shortening, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In large bowl, whisk flour with salt, baking powder, and sugar.

  • Step 3: Melt shortening and peanut butter together in microwave.

  • Step 4: Cool.

  • Step 5: In another bowl, mix milk, egg, peanut butter and shortening, adding all at once.

  • Step 6: Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.

  • Step 7: Fill Pam sprayed greased muffin pans two-thirds full.

  • Step 8: Bake in hot oven (400°) 25 minutes.
