Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place the broiler pan on the second rack position to keep the scallops from burning.

Step 2

Combine the first 4 ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a large ziploc plastic bag.

Step 3

Brush scallops with butter.

Step 4

Add scallops to bag, seal and shake to coat.

Step 5

Place scallops on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.

Step 6

Broil 10 minutes or until done.

Step 7

Serve with lemon wedges.

This is a perfect recipe for scallops. I used Atlantic Sea scallops. I thought that 1 tablespoon of parmesan was a bit mean so I upped it to 3 tablespoons. I baked them in a 425 oven for 20 minutes - done to perfection ending with a lovely golden colour. Thanks Derf this recipe is a winner.9 Aug 13 Made again enjoyed just as much.
