Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preaheat oven to 425 degrees F. Set oven rack to lowest position. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Step 2

In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, mustard and horseradish.

Step 3

Place fillets on a baking sheet, then spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over fillets.

Step 4

In a small bowl combine the bread crumbs with garlic powder and cayenne pepper, butter and remaining 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese; sprinkle over fillets. Bake for 13-16 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

The fish was nice and moist on the inside with a touch of crunch on the outside...I cut the tilapia in pieces and served them next to some oven fries for a take on fish and chips...delicious...made for "Alphabet" tag game at FFF...

This is a flavour loaded recipe that we really enjoyed. The mayonnaise seals the fish so it stays lovely and moist. Then add the parmesan, lemon, mustard and horseradish and you have a very delicious dinner. Thanks kitten for this keeper
