Step by Step Method

Step 1

Wash and dry ribs (or chicken pieces or pork chops) well and trim off fat, then put unseasoned pieces in shallow pan. Line pan with aluminum foil if desired. Place in hot oven (400' - 450' F.) with foil over the top for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Remove the top foil, lower the heat to 350' F., and cook till tender (an hour or more), basting several times with barbecue sauce.

Step 3

Leftover pieces can be frozen even if frozen and thawed meat was used for the recipe.
