"An oldie from the 60s or 70s. No mayo in these. I adjusted the amount of sour cream as per Teresa’s suggestion."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and mash.

Step 2

Mix in sour cream, a little at a time until desired “wetness “, onion flakes, bouillon powder, garlic powder, and onion powder, celery and lemon juice until blended. Generously fill egg white halves, then chill.

I made 1/2 recipe and took it very easy with the sour cream. They were perfect! Couldn't find beef bouillon except for cubes, so I used my planer and grated the cube into powder! LOL! DH made it a point to say how good they were! Thanks, Mike!

These were really tasty...but we both felt that there was way too much sour cream...I even cut back on it...I guess we like our deviled eggs on the dryer side...we did enjoy the beef flavor and the crunch of the celery...made for "FYC" tag game...

These are NOT your typical Deviled Eggs, but they're a fun twist on a classic. I sprinkled with paprika, to make them look pretty. I used celery salt to season, as the celery we had in the refrigerator had spoiled. A fun Easter treat.
