Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add beans to food processor and process using on/off pulse until beans are well mashed.
Step 2
Scrape down sides as necessary.
Step 3
Reserve.
Step 4
Heat oil in a Dutch oven.
Step 5
Add bacon
Step 6
Add carrots, onions, celery and garlic and saute for 5 minutes on medium heat.
Step 7
Add remaining ingredients except pasta and bring to a boil.
Step 8
Reduce heat to a simmer and cook stirring occasionally for 25 minutes.
Step 9
Add dry pasta to soup
Step 10
Simmer 10 minutes more
