Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine beef, potato, onions, egg, cream, salt and pepper.
Step 2
Mix well and shape into 12 thin patties.
Step 3
Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a skillet.
Step 4
Saute patties about 7-8 minutes.
Step 5
Turn over and saute for 7-8 minutes more.
Step 6
Remove and keep warm.
Step 7
Melt remaining butter in skillet.
Step 8
Whisk in flour.
Step 9
Gradually add milk, whisking constantly.
Step 10
Bring just to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 11
Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes.
Step 12
Pour over the meat patties.
