Step 1

Cook the potatoes and peas in separate pans in salted water. Cook until soft and the water is nearly all evaporated.

Step 2

Mix the peas and potatoes together, and then add the milk.

Step 3

Blend the butter and flour together until smooth.

Step 4

Bring the potato and milk mixture to a boil, and then add the butter-flour mixture. Cook until the potatoes have thickened. Sprinkle with pepper, then serve and enjoy!

Lovely dish breezer. I scaled it down for one, maybe added a little too much potato but it was all good. I love the very soft mashed potatoes with the tender peas, so very good, comforting and satisfying. I have some left for my lunch tomorrow, I can't wait. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe.
